On a dark and brisk evening in early February 2015, Jacob Miller and the Bridge City Crooners met on Hawthorne Boulevard in Portland, OR; instruments in hand. The six members sat outside a barbershop, and waited until the shop's work day was through. 7:00PM.

Floors swept, doors locked, razors polished; but the lights remained on in this storefront. It was here, at the Modern Man Barbershop, that Jacob and the Bridge City Crooners met with Johnny Driver of Red Forest Films to shoot a live video session. Performing two original songs, both band and film crew kept that little shop awake until the early hours of the morning.

With the videos capturing the energy, enthusiasm, and lively sound of all six members, we felt it right to release the audio as the "Modern Man Sessions". The results of that night's efforts are here for your listening pleasure. For proper pairing, we highly recommend the accompaniment of a dance partner and glass of rye whiskey while listening to both or either of these tracks.
